Enjoy a visit to Valmagne Abbey, nicknamed the cathedral of the vines, combined with a tour of a pioneering agro-ecology winery and our family-run wine estate.

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation by minivan. You’ll start the day with a visit to a winery specialising in agroecology. With the winemaker, discover an approach whose aim is both to produce healthy, natural grapes and to put in place means of respecting the natural cycle of biology, reviving the life of the soil, generating biodiversity and protecting water resources. Finish the tour with a wine tasting in a typical Languedoc farmhouse in the middle of a pine forest.

Extend your morning with a visit to Valmagne Abbey, a Cistercian abbey founded in 1139 and transformed into a wine estate in the 19th century. Admire the huge oak barrels that sit in the choir of the church, and at the end of the tour taste the estate’s range of organic wines. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious lunch based on local produce in the estate’s farmhouse inn or a winegrower’s picnic to be enjoyed under the pergola of our estate facing the vines.

In the afternoon, your guide will take you to our family estate. You’ll learn all about the grape varieties and the history of winegrowing in the Languedoc, and finish off with a wine tasting, comfortably seated under the wooden pergola facing the vines.
