Full day wine tour in Faugères with Lunch

Enjoy a full day wine tour through the appellation of Faugères, a great Shist Terroir! Leaning against the foothills of the Cévennes, it extends over an  altitude of 300 m and its soil dominated by remarkable gray schists, contributes to the expression of a unique appellation.

Your guide will pick you up at 9am at home and drive you to a first winery. Start the day with the visit and tasting of a traditional Languedoc estate producing an excellent range of organic wines. Your guide will then drive you to a second wine estate. Enjoy a wonderful local lunch made from seasonal produce in the restaurant of a former Cistercian abbey that has been producing wines for more than 900 years. In the afternoon, discover a last local producer of Faugères and Saint Chinian wines producing a range of organic wines. At the end of the visit take a short walk to the estate curiosity: a 200m meteorite crater located in the heart of their vineyard!
