Full day wine tour in Corbières

The Corbières wine region is the Languedoc appellation with the largest surface area. It produces about 550,000 hectoliters per year on very diversified soils: schist, sandstone, limestone, marl. In a typically Mediterranean landscape you will discover along the day 3 wineries and stop for lunch at the famous Abbaye de Fontfroide.

Your guide will pick you up at home at 8.30am. After approximately 1.5 hour drive you will visit in the morning 2 different châteaux wineries presenting a range of typical Corbières wines. Your guide will then drive you for lunch to the famous Abbaye de Fontfroide, a Cistercian abbey founded in 1093 and nestled in the heart of the Corbières massif, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch accompanied with a glass of their own wines. If you wish take the time to visit the abbey and feel its relaxing out of the time atmosphere. In the afternoon we will bring you to visit a 3^rd wine estate before driving back to Montpellier around 5.30pm
