Meet your guide at 10:00 AM on the Esplanade de l’Europe and set off towards the beautiful Thau Lagoon, a unique ecosystem where vineyards thrive alongside oyster farms.
Your Wine and Oyster Tour begins at a traditional Languedoc wine estate nestled among sun-drenched vineyards and cooled by Mediterranean sea breezes. Explore the winery’s vinification cellar and oak barrel cellar while learning about local winemaking traditions. The visit concludes with a tasting of a selection of white, rosé, and red wines that showcase the diversity of the region.
Next, travel to an authentic oyster farm on the shores of the Thau Lagoon. Discover the fascinating world of oyster farming and learn how these prized shellfish are cultivated in one of France’s most renowned oyster-producing regions. Relax on a waterfront terrace and enjoy a tasting of freshly harvested oysters paired with a glass of crisp Picpoul de Pinet, the emblematic white wine of the area, while taking in spectacular views across the lagoon.
