Abseil and winetasting at the Pic Saint-Loup

Saturday April 13th : vertigo at the Pic Saint-Loup !

Cliffs and rocks make up part of our region landscape which is particularly suitable for rock-climbing and rappel. Thus we came up with the idea of creating a special tour together with  Antonin Cherbonnier, a professionnal climbing and canyoning monitor, to let you discover the Pic Saint-Loup in a thrilling way.

Starting from Montpellier, we will drive you with the minibus at the foot of the Pic. Once fitted with the necessary material, you will walk on a steep path on the north face up to the beginning of the 3rd rappel.

You can admire from there the splendid view over the Cévennes, the vineyards and the Hortus cliff.

A thrilling experience

After some explanations on how to safely abseil down, a row of 3 rappels (respectively 20m, 60m et 20 m) are expecting you !

The second rappel, particularly impressive, let you hang loose for several minutes…

And after the effort, a well deserved rest !

After the emotions of the morning, you will be rewarded with a picnic on a sunny spot with a nice view over the mountains. You will then go off for a wine tasting tour of a domain of this nice “terroir”

The winemaker will welcome you and show you around his estate. You will then finish the day with a tasting of his wines.
