Discover the Pic Saint-Loup in all its splendor by experimenting this classic hike of the region before tasting the wines of this special wine area.
For hikers, climbing the Pic Saint-Loup is one of the must-dos in the region. Departure from Montpellier at 10am with your guide to arrive about 30 min later to a quaint medieval village, very well preserved. You will then head to Cazevielle where is the starting point of the walk. After about 1h to 1h30 of regular climbing of the southern face, your efforts will be rewarded with an unforgettable view of the valley and the cliff of the "hortus" mountain. At the top enjoy the scenery and make a picnic break before starting the descent (45 min to 1h).
In the afternoon prolong the discovery by visiting and tasting a family estate of this fabulous terroir. You will visit the cellar, learn about the specificity of this excellent wine region and taste their range of wines.
